<<We do too. Abolish the Ag Dept.>>

Fine by me as I don't get a cent from them. Probably have less food production but since I'm a food producer I'd make more on the increased prices. I hope we would get another Dept to monitor food as I don't want to die young from something I ate.

The agency I worked for was the largest bureau in the USDA. It was pretty well run for the first two thirds of my career. When Reagan became President he sent people around to investigate ways to become more efficient.

I accompanied those people on several of their forays in our area, and was exposed to other bureaus in the USDA. Sad to say, it was very disappointing and I couldn't understand what the mission for those bureaus was. I thanked my lucky stars that I understood my own mission, and was proud of it.

Even more sadly, everything I worked for, which was intended to benefit the grandchildren of my grandchildren, has since been more or less thrown out the window. I'm still very angry about it.

If you moved it over to Interior, you could probably abolish the rest of the USDA without too much adverse effect.
