I'm not pissed off. I have much more patience than that.

As for today's drop-off, I think we should note that the entire market was up in the beginning and then fell. Iomega does not exist in a vacuum.

Sure, there may have been some disappointment in today's news. I think we hype ourselves up pretty well around here. But if you think about the amount of work that went into today's announcement, I think you can understand why Iomega called it big.

They have taken a product which was only a prototype a year ago, refined it, decreased the size, doubled the capacity, reduced power consumption, and enlisted the support of several extremely influential players in the electronics and photography industries. Not a minor accomplishment.

The bears will minimize it, because that's what they do. But remember that they also said the Zip market was saturated after nnly about 4 million units had been sold.
