Re: "a post where you opposed the individual mandate...."

Every single post (where you ever asked that question directly) you received a reply from me explaining that I opposed the 'individual mandate'.

(We covered this issue extensively just about a month ago Bill... don't tell me that your memory is that short!)

Furthermore, I'd previously posted that the 'individual mandate' was originally an idea proposed by various GOP-aligned think tanks (Heritage, etc.) and advanced by various GOP pols over the years (Romney, Gingrich, etc., etc.), dating to at least 12 or 15 years back... and that I'd opposed the idea back then, too. (Do you remember that?)

Also, you and I had a rather extensive series of posts back and forth between the two of us a month or two before that where we discussed the 'legal under-pinnings', the supposed constitutional authority for federal assumptions of authority such as the insurance mandate, marijuana prohibition, mandatory fee-assessment on wheat farmers, etc., etc., which ALL draw their federal authority from modern actions of the Supreme Court where their rulings have E-X-P-A-N-D-E-D their interpretation of what the constitution's 'commerce clause' means until it gives the feds authority over damn near ANYTHING. Over even things that never cross state lines, nor even enter into commerce.

And I consistently opposed those expansions as well. (Don't tell me that you can't even remember that!)

So... what is it, Bill? 'Selective memory'? You just can't 'remember' ANYTHING that doesn't fit neatly into your fantasies?

NOBODY, (short of senile), could have a memory that is THAT BAD....
