No! Those sections in the Tax Act that cover "trading" vs. "investing" refer to any "income/gains" generated outside an RRSP.

The CRA collects its pound of flesh once the status of an RRSP changes.

Doubt that.. RRSP is taxed as regular income already.. That's how I live now.. cap gains are a lot friendlier as you climb
