For a year now, it's been an endless "wait 3 months...wait six months...the iPad killer is coming...no we really mean it this time..." And here we sit a FULL YEAR LATER with nothing but vaporware and vague promises about "...just wait three months! We really really really mean it this time!" So it seems to be exactly the other way 'round - I'm not "hoping" for anything, I'm living in the world as it actually exists. Meanwhile you've been reduced to parroting press releases for vaporware and clinging to the hope that one of these companies finally gets its head out of its ass and actually ships something. Frankly, the only interesting factor with all these non-announcement is that so many companies are clearly TERRIFIED of going up against Apple. With them showing so little confidence in their own products, it sure as hell isn't my place to do otherwise.
