And I guess the iPad2, iPhone5 or the smaller iPhone that supposedly CRAPple is working on (and that the dumb and dumber iSheep you've been conversing with have posted articles on) are not vaporware, right?? LMFAO... too funny...

Considering that nobody has even seen the iCRAP 2 or iJUNK5, while the XOOM not only is it real and had hands on time, but also has a day of arrival, I'd say the iCRAP 2 and iJUNK5 are more vaporware than the XOOM will ever be, you hypocrite.

Leak: Costco Getting Ready For A Feb 24 Motorola Xoom Release Date
by el_div on February 16, 2011
gforgames.com

It seems that not only Best Buy is making preparations for the rumored February 24th Motorola Xoom release date. According to a leaked internal Costco doc, the warehouse club is also getting ready for the strangely not yet officially confirmed Motorola Xoom release date.

According to the same doc, Costco will receive a live demo device on February 22nd and a lot of Xooms will arrive to each warehouse on Feb 24 ( here’s hoping Costco will also begin selling them on the same day ).

Other interesting details ? It seems that you’ll have to get a month-to-month or pay-as-you-go service plan in order to get your hands on the Motorola Xoom.

Leak: Costco Getting Ready For A Feb 24 Motorola Xoom Release Date
Oh snap ! Did you notice the “10 Reasons to Ditch the iPad” .pdf document mentioned in the pic above ? It would really be interesting to see what their reasons are. However we already know that Motorola Xoom kills not only the iPad but also BlackBerry PlayBook and Dell Streak 7, at least on paper.

Another interesting info that would have been nice to find out is the Motorola Xoom price tag at Costco. We’re really curious to see the official price, although leaked documents from both Best Buy and Verizon are pointing towards a $799.99 Motorola Xoom price tag. On top of that it seems that in order to unlock the Wi-Fi functionality you’ll have to get at least a one month data plan. And no, we refuse to believe that the rumored/leaked $1200 price is more than a mistake, typo or whatever you want to call it.

So all-in-all, is the rumored price of the Motorola Xoom a put-off for you? Will you rather wait for the logically cheaper Wi-Fi only Motorola Xoom ? Or will you go out and pre-order Motorola Xoom from Best Buy today ? Let us know in the comments section.

Thanks Android Central for letting us know about this leaked Costco doc that points to the rumored Feb 24 Motorola Xoom release date.

White Google Nexus S hands-on(LOTS OF PHOTOS - click link)
18 February 2011 by Chris Davies
androidcommunity.com

Google’s Nexus S isn’t new, but the white variant of the Gingerbread smartphone – which is a Vodafone exclusive – certainly is, and we’ve been itching to get our hands on the newer model since we first caught wind of its existence. As the official photos showed, this isn’t quite a full white makeover; in fact, the battery compartment is now white, as are the inset power button and volume rocker, but the front section of the Nexus S is still glossy black.

Still, that’s not to say no work has gone into it; under the battery cover it’s white as well, which leads us to wonder whether it’s something to do with the manufacturing process of the curved glass front that has left it black like the original. It’s not just a color change, either; gone is the fingerprint-magnet glossy finish, replaced with a slightly textured, matte back plate that feels less prone to slipping out of your grasp.

Functionally it’s the same Nexus S we know from the full Android Community review, and still the only Android 2.3 Gingerbread device on the market. It’s “coming soon” to Vodafone.
