Well I just found out from Dell that all the XPS 15 i7 computers are no longer available due to issues with the i7 processor.

Why and the hell didn't they tell me that a week ago?

Have to send system back for a refund. Looks like Dell still hasn't changed in the quality control department.

Dell sucks!

No external VGA - wonder if that is a move to HDMI (as in to a larger screen and/or overhead). I have both VGA+HDMI. Is there still a FUNCTION-KEY option to share/change the video to the other?

The sound side sounds interesting. All they had when I bot it was a software version of Soundblaster and I didn't care for that so took whatever was onboard. Not happy with the sound - unlike a real hardware card, when there is activity the sound is interrupted.

Hard to say why it would take 30s longer to boot seeing as it is I believe a faster machine. Odd. But sounds like the video is winner.
