My gosh Cheeks you FAILED! Step 1 - in live - top down - did you get what you ordered and paid for?

Hopefully you get answers on Tuesday.

OT (not for you but the rest of the planet) I was in Canada Computers last week and was amazed to see how many of the Asus; Gateway and even HP notebooks had a NON-BILINGUAL keyboard. They said ACER is really pushing it but no one else yet. FWIW maybe hope isn't lost.

My gosh Cheeks you FAILED!

I am pissed right off. I just spent 6 hours configuring and installing crap on that machine.

Step 1 - in life - top/down - did you get what you ordered and paid for?

Hopefully you get answers on Tuesday. But sounds like things are amiss alright.

I find the "I Hate Dell" site can be helpful when researching Dell issues.

Maybe this thread can shine some light on your situation. . .

Cheers, PW.

P.S. Over the years, I've had my share of Dell irritations, but there's a solution: buy through the representatives who serve business customers. Based in North America, they speak without unintelligible Indian accents, they can understand AND RESOLVE issues, and as a bonus, they can usually provide much better prices. (You don't have to be ordering on behalf of a business -- they're happy to make sales to individuals.)

P.P.S. Although Dell's business machines seem "weaker" on features, they're built with more reliable components. (And carry a longer standard warranty.)
