It was closer to 40,000 protesters and there were about 2000 government supporters. It was a good day. We had a chance to talk to many teachers and this was a very peaceful non-threatening event. There were some crazies from both sides, but without the union agitators trying to get people to chant and getting small groups to do so...one of the common comments was that we are all Packers fans...it lacked that Passion of the Vietnam War protests.
