You just have to be careful. I bought an electronic scale and gold silver and platinum testing kit today. :^) Can't wait til that arrives. I have sooo many antique pocket watches. I bought maybe 20 hat were advertised as not working...but guess what? They didn't even check them. They all ran very well. All over 100 to hundred and fifty years old. Only problem is the weight of all my watches is getting to be very heavy. Over 125 of them and more on the way. One day I will list as a seller. I have tons of collectables too, of all types. Besides, I can't just buy, I have to sell as well. Otherwise someone inherits or steals them and sells them for far less than they are worth. That would be too sad.
