I'm still in shock over sodie pop going to 12 cents.......as a longtime fan of the concept of the present value of cash, I used to drink my coke at the store to keep from having to pay the bottle deposit. That is up until the day my dime didn't cover the cost and I had to walk 1 1/2 miles to make sure the lady had her extra 2 cents.

I've been a more cautious consumer since then....I think I was nine.
