thecow, thanks for the leads--neither is working for me- --in IE I went to tools/manange addons but ASK is not showing up there, even though I it was my opening page --the ASK toolbar removal tool is freezing up on me--when I click on execute removal, I am asked if I want to view content only delivered securely--I've tried both yes and no with no results..... appreciate your help, will keep fiddling with it I tried locking google as my toolbar but when I reopened--ASK again
