children are great.

son competing in state swim meet as we speak, prez of student council, perma-honor roll, admitted to best school in city (one of top 25 or so schools in USA), seriously creative, standard scores outdawazoo, great kid, no trouble, no tiger mom or dad, and clearly headed for big things........

not my son, clearly switched at hospital. vbg

but even kids who excel and have lots of advantages will have limited opportunities thanks to our fiscal f/u. It kills me because they deserve more than a mountain of unpayable debt and a big pile of political BS.

And the marginal kids, the bulk of them? They are fcuked, I think. But they may well be the ones who change the world, for ill or not I can't tell.

all about the kids now

I know the feeling.. My life has been such that, while children were desired, they never were a priority..

But now that priority is changing. I'm apparently now where you were 6 years ago, in that area.. Same age as well.. LOL!!

So going to travel about this spring and summer and find a suitable partner to fulfill that agenda.. ;0)

There are things more important than chasing wealth. The ultimate wealth of humanity lies within our children.
