The USA [and NZ etc] is going to get a double whammy - people in China have to be offered more money to work and the dilution of the dollar is inflationary too.

Contrary to the article, there is no worker shortage in China, there is just a pay shortage. If the employers try offering $50,000 a year instead of $5,000, they could hire the people they need. Heck, at that price, they could hire Americans.

Friend of mine tells me that material costs for fabrics is only about 20-30% of the total cost of article..

The majority of any items cost is marketing and advertising..
