Of course they did and it has backfired on them. If it was about the kids, they would be at school...teaching. This is about money.

Just curious, did any of the union protesters try the old "it's for the kids" ploy?

I noticed that even Kenny was smart enough not to use that tired out line, unless I missed it.


I've only heard the "for the kids" line on Fox News. I think you're wrong about the line being tired and people being too smart for it. We're talking about Fox News viewers, not the Mensa Society.

That would just draw attention to how incredibly shitty a job they are doing at educating. People would start thinking they are overpaid based on performance.
