Johnathan:

You state:
> I don't short because if I am wrong I lose real money.

hmmm... interesting point. So if you buy and lose it will be monopoly money?! And all this time I thought the paper losses I have been getting from ASND, COMS are real money. Glad this is cleared now. I can sleep better tonight.

thanks,

Regards,

>>>Addi, I don't short because if I am wrong I lose real money.<<<

And if you are wrong about going long, you will lose real money. That's investing, what's your point? Weak excuse.

>>>It is a favorite statement of people that don't like the prediction of a low value in a particular stock to tell the person to short it<<<

The reason being, is to test your resolve and conviction behind your beliefs. If you have any reason to be confident about your own analysis, you would not hesitate to go short when you believe a stock will fall further. I guess your own analysis does not merit self-confidence.

>>>I also don't trade for just day only timeframes.<<<

That's certainly reasonable. But that also means you are no daytrader.
