17! What the f**ck happened while I was gone! Jeez, at
least I made a couple of bucks with my Walgreens stock,
looks like old and dowdy tortoise wins again.

Well messing with the DD stocks has been quite a revelation
for me (and a costly one at that!). Forget valuations etc. the
name of the game here is product life cycles. They are much
too short, see semi's also. There is no real reliable way to
time these things as the street is geared to keep you off your
balance at all times. I don't care what anybody here says, I'll
bet very few keep their gains through the ups and downs.

People, I'm a convert. I'll let the Nasdaq drop down to the
200 day moving average, let the climax selling begin, then
jump in on a follow through up day to Intel and Microsoft and
maybe Compaq and hold those puppies yes - forever!

That's my new holding period. I'll just have to content myself
with whatever Mssrs Gates, Grove, and Pfeifer can do with
their stock prices on the aggregate in a given year and concentrate
on my own core business of computer consulting!

Good luck to all! The market will go back up when you least
expect it!
