Nope Elmat - they experienced with a electro-magnetic pulse bomb which succeeded above their expectation – or they forgot that the power station delivers electricity with an underground cable of several hundred Km – at least the Russian managed to scare the Western armies from a real EMP bombs and every military telecom equipment needed to be EMP proof 25 year ago - I even have some related patents including "relay less" switches (not like Alcatel "Penta Conta" which was the central telephone switch of choice 30-35 years ago)
