Mads: Did you catch this critical statement?

"The company is expected to complete its first major
acquisition in January, 1998."

My thoughts only, Offie, but it could just be legal's "CYA"
statement. Unless something has changed since
I spoke a second time with Mr. Hicks yesterday, matters
are still very much on track with the lending institution.
The last bits and scraps of info they came back and requested
of AVAL were supplied and no further requests have been made.
This w/e a company representative flies to Europe for
a scheduled meeting Monday with the lenders. So!
Normally, this type of transaction would progress this way,
I think: If the lenders say yes, a letter of Committment
would be issued to AVAL. That would be this month. More
paper work from the lawyers would go back and forth.
And if all were still fine, the actual acquisition would
occur in December.
My hope is that the company will issue another press
release when the letter of committment stage is reached.

I really will try to post on other portions of my chat
with Mr Hicks because it was quite interesting.
Just very busy right now. -M
