My point is that Presidents from both parties have been doing this sort of thing for a very long time. It doesn't make it right and what's more is that nothing will change if a GOP President is elected. The only way it will change is if the Judiciary and Congress exercise their powers to bring the Executive branch back under control. Checks and balances are Constitutional. But the balance of power has to be exercised, otherwise the balance gets out of whack.
