There are many barebone kits out there and cheap and some really good gamer machines that are barebone , just put it together , :) with plenty of reading , I did it and must say I was worried at first , but if I knew of a place that would of done it for $50 have at it :).

Like some one mentioned earlier neatness of the wiring tie wrapping it ,I used colour tie wraps , seeing my case has a clear side on it .I wanted to do a good job , neatness with the wiring , just do not look under or behind the desk lmao

I use a computer company in my city to build my computers. They are a medium - large retailer, and service center.

If you have computer stores in your city, most will build computers for you. They charged me 60 dollars to build my last one. We customized it together to get a nice system. Been using it since Sept 05, still runs great.

Next system will be with them, using a Lian Li case and an Asus motherboard, the other stuff will be decided when I get it built.

But my main concern is the case and MB.

I would never buy anything but Lian Li cases. If you check Newegg, they list a bunch, but get an aluminum one, not a steel case. Lian Li is starting to make steel cases for the budget user, but the aluminum ones are much lighter and high quality.
