Bruce,

lots more buyers than sellers...the 99 size is thru INCA, but there is also another 15/16, size 20, so actually 119 x 10. one of the benefits of level II, you can see them all. lots of ask size at 6, but today there was at different levels, and they would be pulled off before it got there. the close ask size was 10, then had one sell of 5000 shares, so can't honestly say they were holding the ask down.

best,
kim

Bruce/All, First of all thank you for the kind comments in regards to my posts on the trading activity. As an IPM shareholder who has benefited tremendously from the various "experts" on the PM side, I'm glad I can lend a little bit of expertise on the stock side.

The 99X10 bid/ask means that the bid is good for 9900 shares to be bought at the bid and the ask is good for 1000 shares on the offer. I did not see the close but reviewed the transaction log upon my return. Very strong close with the lone offer being FAHN at 5 31/32. The high bid was INCA which is the InstaNet system. INCA could very well be an institution especially with the 9900 bid.

In watching the stock trade it is very obvious that the various short consortium is in quite a quandry. They do need to cover a substantial amount of shares in a market that will not be short friendly. Especially when you have "friends" with a voracious appetites and deep pockets.

The stock is definitely moving higher for a reason. The volume remains quite good and it cannot be coming from SI participants adding to their positions. Could this finally be the prelude to the long awaited signoffs?

The stock is up 50% from last weeks lows. Based on todays strong close, tomorrows open should be quite strong. I believe some shorts could start becoming aggresive buyers as some will not want to take the chance of being caught with their shorts down (pun intended). Are we havin' fun yet?
