IKE,

>>SADDam is a pussy cat<< No! A pussy cat will protect her young, SADDam is a pussy that uses the young to protect himself....
Apologies to all for the off-color language, but what can I say, the shoe does fit..bp

Cousin Ike:

Another lecture from your Uncle Nemer.
I have not your world wise knowledge of markets.
I do have some hard earned experience in the way of the world.

The arm of terrorism reaches into the furthurest places that herefore have been safe from harm.
Case in point------your beloved Pakistan yesterday.

There is no position to be gained, no battle to be won, by the usage of words to denigrate the Iraqi leader.

I have no support to lend to the situation he is in.
Nor have I been imprisioned by him, as you have.
Never the less----reticence is the preferred action.
When one has no control of a situation, one should expend no emotional effort or spend time worrying over it.

END of lecture--------

Regards---- Uncle Nemer

Ike, what you say is likely true. But on an individual basis I think cowards/bullies and fanatics cause us more trouble and more to be afraid of than strong people. I don't know if that applies on a world level as well, but on a personal level I never want to corner a coward. Saddam seems to have the ability to whip his country into a frenzy...not against its leaders, but against the U.S. and the rest of the West. At this point there doesn't seem to be any evidence that his people are ready to overthrow him. Minor despots have caused a lot of damage in the world in the past, way out of proportion to their actual size or strength, and I expect they will continue to do so.
