Hmmm.....

Extra $400,000 SG&A in Q4...

Recent press releases say ARCA will be rolling out cable advertising in other markets, including L.A.: this and the extra SG&A imply ARCA retail is back in L.A....

New Whirlpool deal and continuation of Edison contract increase the odds of L.A. retail sites breaking even early on, unlike 1996...

It this the end of the beginning of the turnaround? Are we about to hit paydirt? All ARCA needs to do is drop $284,000 to bottom line per Q, and we're at $1.00 annual EPS (no taxes for years), and stock looks cheap up to $15/$20...

Remember, ARCA keeps ALL Edison profits now (97Q2 would have been about $100,000 profit if ARCA had owned entire L.A. operation); also, retail sales are steady and very profitable, growing almost 10% sequentially; sales per store approaching $100,000 per Q, up from $67,000 per store in 97Q1...

We're very close now...
