Well, if you look where governments DO tax the hell out of oil, Europe, you find they have universal public transit, healthy railroads, a LOT of really small cars, and don't drive as much as we do.

Ted, there's negative pressure across the entire market, but GM seems to be suffering more than most stocks.

No, not at all. The stock is down $2. Ford is down $5. TM was down $5 yesterday. GM sold off yesterday because it reported earnings. With earnings this quarter, if you don't hit it out of the park your stock pulls back.

Oil is the great boogeyman. I see Thomas Friedman in the NYT saying we should add another $1/gallon tax to gas. Cause you know, it's all about our "addiction to oil."

He's lying, isn't he Ten. We don't have an addiction to oil, do we? Its just another centrist R trying to confuse you. Ignore him and carry on.
