Anytime a stock closes at the high of the day is great. Unlike the conspiracy theorists on the thread, I don't believe the short sellers are manipulating the trading. Otherwise a shorting MM would have "painted the tape" by dumping shares at the close to try to get that last trade as a sell. That said, I do think they are trying to manipulate sentiment. I don't for one minute believe Charters is a Good Samaritan trying to save us misguided fools. I have seen people stop by and tell us they think we are going to lose our shirts, sharing their opinions, then leave without harping on about it. I respect those opinions, not the heckling that we have been barraged with, and I think the average investor should be able to tell the difference. Now I hope like heck this isn't a bear trap...
