James, Just a note from an old Corvair owner. Ralphy was WRONG! WRONG!! WRONG!!! about the Corvair. The true facts did not come to light until about 5 years after Unsafe at Any Speed (and then on page 39d), but by then the Corvair was gone, and Ralphy had a scalp and a rep. About the only thing bad about the Corvair was its motor -- if you had to have any work done on it, it was big time labor bucks, beacuse they had to drop the puppy out of the body. Regards, Rich
