China is paying for what they get in Africa. The local yokels won't work unless they get money. The bosses won't let China lay fibre without peage. The distribution of the cash will not be equitable - it will go to the bosses but that's normal in democracies too.

China isn't exploiting Africa at all. The bosses in Africa are exploiting the citizens who they threaten and exclude.

Tradable Citizenships would be a good thing for Africans. Libyans should riot and demand Tradable Citizenships too. The UN should occupy Libya, reconstitute both the UN and Libyan constitutions then hand it over to the Citizen-Owners to run. New Zealanders should also demand tradable citizenships to upgrade from being citizen-serfs owned by the government to being citizens who own the government and the assets.

hong kong is far more confucius than vvv

that is why hong kong is hong kong, at the top of the world, and britain is britain, else how do we explain the difference

as china turned to try being left alone by corrupt western ways, disaster followed by force of arms, and as china tried the western invention that is communism, more disaster followed

now confucius institute buildings dot the landscape, back to fundamentals, asian values, the tried and true ;0)

in the mean time, some bad ideas are taking hold

just in in-tray

Elmat is an exploiter. He exploited the weakness of the Germans and appropriated the salaries that belonged to them.

The old Germans whom Elmat met in Nigeria, were hard working lot.

Their offsprings were weak and soft. Elmat got their jobs.

The old Germans taught Elmat a lot. And he took everything of good they had and flushed down the toilet what he found was bad.

I exploited the weakness of the German my age.

What enabled Elmat to exploit the weak? Elmat saw what Brazil would become because of high debts and Paul Volcker double digit interest rates.
He knew very well what was coming and sought alternatives.

The alternative was Nigeria. And he braved Nigeria real good. This new situation - when Elmat tries to lecture the ones facing the same fate Brazilians faced late 70s- is not new for Elmat.
