I guess I should fess up and say that the iMovie UI really drives me up the wall, I guess the guys who work on iMovie don't have to adhere to standard user interface guidelines??

Could be that the touch UI is inherently inferior for certain functions. Or maybe some clever programmer will figure a way to make stuff easier to do. We'll see.

Apple's UI rules are going downhill. Even they violate them. It one of several reasons I'm thinking about selling. I'm beginning to think they are too busy to maintain their leads in several areas. Quality UI is one area.
