Particularly with 2yr contracts and the iPhone 5 right around the corner and no real change to the antenna design.

In addition although Verizon's voice is superior it's data is not. No one likes the carriers.

I am VERY surprised they didn't change the antenna design. I would have thought they'd coat it or something...

Either the tolerances are so exact that they can't change it without a radical design change or contract volume deals have them locked in.

I'm not too concerned about the Verizon numbers. I always thought it would be a gradual adoption transition because of the contracts. I still think they'll meet or get very close to their numbers over the long run.

I'm far more concerned about Jobs and what I see as Apple getting to the point they cannot keep up their quality. There are just so many superior engineers and designers.
