Something I think most of you missed about Clic:

This from the LSI press release:

OEMs can build a miniature version of the Clik!
drive into future digital cameras in order to provide internal storage of images

That in itself is fantastic news.

The 40 MB disk drive will fit into all laptaps and most desktops in the future. They are so small that even a portable Zip drive may have one built-in. This drive, IMO, if available soon as suggested by IOM's press announcement will be universally embraced by industry and the consumer.
Forgive me non-believers for I am merely trying to rationalize what can take place if Iomega delivers what they announced.
