Say Mr., how much are them puts you're selling? ... just kidding, I got enough ... at least that's what the wife says. Yes Fido could have sold a lot of their MU already. We'll know more by about Dec.10 when their 13G filing for Nov. should be available. If they don't file one, it means they haven't reduced their position below 16.0 million shares. To arrive at this you go back to their early July filing when they showed 26.6 million as at June 30th., or 12.6% of the shares o/s. This means they went thru the 10% level in June, which triggered the 13G filing (rules are different than 13D filings - whew!). They next have to file when their position changes by 5% of the shares o/s (10.6 million shares) in either direction. MU's proxy shows they increased to 31.8 million at Aug. 28th and all we know for sure right now is that they didn't go over 37.2 million or under 16.0 million (26.6 million +/- 5%) in Sept. or Oct.

BTW, between the end of June and the end of Aug. they added 5.2 million shares to their position ... during this period the stock went on a round trip between roughly $40 to $60 and back to $40. So what do you think they paid and where is the stock now? It's amazing what otherwise bright people will do when caught up in the madness of a bull market. They have to be in the market because otherwise their quarterly performance will look bad. And they buy second-rate stuff like MU because that sort of stuff really flies in a bull market. Well it's $23 now and I bet they still own 30 million shares. There just hasn't been enough volume for them to get out. I expect they and their kin will make the low on MU.

'MU ....... a dawg of a stock .... woof!'

regards, Mike
