Many if not most countries charge local phone rates by the minute! There is and will be a need for a cheap throwaway utility for sometime to come. Application is everything. Personally [imo] backwards compatibility makes better sense but so did Sony Bata. But please let's not go there, I've been following this thread for well over a year, and that is such old ground.
