Amir, thanks for the Info. Warrants could be another way to go in our quest for profits. Maybe, you could explain further about Warrants for the benefit of the thread.

I suggested LEAPs to take advantage of the long Yoyo swings of AMAT, both short-term and Long-term. Imagine the stock gaining 400% from Bottom to Top in 1 year only to go down almost 50% from the Top in less than a month!...

Amir,

I like the point that you make about the possible liquidity problems with leaps. It's a concern that I have since I am a little new to trading these options.

I like warrants and have used them in the past as a stock substitute (Intel - INTCW). The only problem with warrants is I don't think that they are available for a lot of different stocks like AMAT, ASMLF, CSCO etc. If you know of rapidly growing, well managed companies (like AMAT) that have warrants available, please post the or send me an e-mail.
