An example of government... Let's say you went to the shoe store and you saw several pairs of shoes you liked so you decide to get both. Now let's say you have a friend and you want to buy them a pair of shoes. In this case you're only going to buy one pair, because they aren't paying for the shoes. The government's problem is that it wants extra and it isn't paying for it, the taxpayer is.
