Last week the Motorola Mobility's (NYSE: MMI) Xoom hit the market, and nobody cared. There were no lines around the block, no gaudy sales estimates, and the only buzz was over the ridiculous $799 price tag.

FWIW, I played with a Xoom at a Verizon store yesterday, and the salesperson said it was outselling the iPad at his store :). Verizon sells wifi iPads in a bundle with a separate wifi hotspot device. I know, shocker!
