I lived in Amsterdam when Paris Hilton was all the rage in the US. Every time I went out I thought how plain and ordinary she would have looked in the Netherlands without all the tabloid hype.

The beautiful blondes must be compensation for the crappy weather that starts around Amsterdam and just gets worse further north.
