Bateman, I just find it hard to believe that TI would suddenly drop 12 points yesterday on some kind of bizarre "mass realization" that the DRAM market has been weak.

IMHO, that 12 pt. drop alone is suspicious.

Then add to that the fact that low and behold some analysts cut estimates.

How can that not raise a few eyebrows?

As far as MU today goes, Niles' & Lehman lowering estimates hurt on top of any collateral damage tied to the CNBC report of TK lowering TI numbers.

Seinfeld beckons, but I'll look over volume on the common tomorrow.

IMHO the real nasty stuff (if any occurred) would show up in increased put open interest and volume in the preceeding few days, but I don't have access to that type of historical option data.
