If the Bush tax rates had been allowed to expire as Democrats wanted, taxes would have gone up for all taxpayers. The lowest tax rate would have been raised from 10% to 15% - a 50% hike.

I'm glad Obama didn't allow that to happen and extended the current tax rates.
