Ernie killed by a bomb in a suitcase in a union building when he went to move it. The other was by France in bombing the Rainbow Warrior boat killing a photographer. France was, I believe, complicit with the British and USA in the attack. With friends like that, who needs enemies? That attack was in reprisal for New Zealanders choosing to be nuclear-free, showing David Lange and the rest of us who is boss. The NATO nuclear club versus New Zealand - way to go guys, yous are really tough and manly. Killed a photographer, leaving his children fatherless.
