Yep.............same thing. I have headphone checked. Still not working and still quite windy. Will check the headphones on my desk top when I boot it up. If they work there, could I remove the Realtek program safely? ;)

I had "Soundmax" software on the P4, and now on the HP. On the P4, it had an option so that when you plug something else, a wizard would appear to ensure you were doing the right thing. It because old real quick so I turned it off.
