This is what the poi of Madharry, that we should not tar all the companies. But it is very difficult select the good from the bad.

Geoff,

You might be right. At some point we should list all the Chinese "red flag" companies and tally up the results. Even worse, unlike Madoff, no one is going to be able to claw back even a penny.

that is one of the most ridiculous comments on si that I have ever read. but otoh that is why its possible to purchase solid companies with pe-s in the 2-6 range. if you think the chinese market is a scam you had best sell everything but your silver nd gold!

it would be interesting to track a group of chinese stocks and pit their performance against us financials and real estate stocks over the next three years.
