>>>Have to say that if Ancor was asked to do this demo and they declined, in my opinion they made a mistake.<<<
I would agree with you if this is an ongoing demonstration in the SUN booth but if it is a one time demonstration in a seminar or lecture type setting I think Ancor probably din't want to send and spend the resources.I'm sure if they felt this was critical to getting SUN they would have done it.I would think that at this point SUN is learning the benefits of what the MKII switch can do. Now they are probably waiting to see what the Brokade switch with FC-AL can do when it comes out and then decide which switch is in their future. I doubt this Comdex demonstration will make or break who gets SUN except it does point out the Geographic desirability of Brokade.

>>>The question you have to ask yourself, if you were a manager with little FC knowledge and Sun never names a high-end switch OEM, whose switch will you be most likely to buy?<<<
You are absolutely right here.

From your other post you said what Brocade isn't showing is a switch with FC-AL. What is it that they are showing exactly and is it featuring the SUN product, the Brocade product or both?
