She claimed that the idea of sex education remains an oxymoron if it is abstinence-based, or if students are still able to opt-out. They don't need to teach it. Have you seen an episode of Skins on MTV? While you may find it disgusting personally, I think everyone ought to watch one episode just so they can comprehend what the hell is going on. I watched it last week and I was ASTOUNDED that parents haven't insisted on it being shut down. Drugs, alcohol, explicit sex acts, all rolled into one hour of TV on a channel predominantly kids watch. I am in no way a prude and I generally don't care for censorship, but parents are AWOL on this one. They should be breaking down the doors at MTV on this one.

NEA To UN: “Oral Sex, Masturbation, And Orgasms Need To Be Taught In Education” Isn't that unfair to muslim women since so many muslim nations don't allow women to go to school and they hack off most of the sensitive bits? Then again, Gadaffy may need a new UN counsel to sit on.
