Are you kidding me?

The evidence Bush was complicit in this mess is quite apparent and easily accessed.

The fact he didn't understand.......or worse yet, did understand but encouraged home ownership for people who had no business taking out a mortgage.......is quite shameful!

He said it is a "federal responsibility" to make sure every American family owned a home.

He called it the "Americas Home Ownership Challenge."

He told Fannie/Freddie and Federal Home Loan Banks to increase loans to minorities by $440,000,000,000 (that's with a B) and commit themselves to "the cause." He also said it conformed with their charters.

Listen to the second link..........this BS just went on and on, and has ruined our nation. I had to listen to it a couple of times to get my facts. The third time around I had to stop it out of disgust.

To the extent that Bush was on the side of this argument is unknown to me.
