Yes you are correct. If you held 100 shares of AGQ, and say the current price is $200, its worth is $20,000.
Now if they split 2 for 1, (for that matter any type of split or not) your value would be still $20,000. You will have 200 shares instead of 100 and the price would be changed to $100 from $200. [# of shares would double and the price would go in half, keeping the total value the same].
