I don't see why Watson-like software, fed law books and periodicals, can't replace MOST lawyerly functions! It couldn't happen to a more deserving group of assholes!

That is, unless the lawyers that have moved on to politics pass laws against it.

Of course, there are SOME lawyerly functions that are NOT replicable by machine, that's when you gotta CALL SAUL!

oh joy...let's think this through. computer programs reduce language to algos, forcing those who are being monitored to reduce their performance in order to fit the algorithm. software engineers will redefine language and the workplace.
