I don't think most of us even knew what this Carter signed CRA Act had to say....it was before Internet days, and it was very difficult to ferret out info of any kind, unless you went to the library and looked at all the newspapers....even then we wouldn't have known the full bill and the ramifications of that bill. And how did we know that the Dem controlled Congress put words in that bill that made it mandatory the banks loan money to people who couldn't afford to pay back the loan........ INSANITY!
