Hello Bob. Maybe I sounded a little harsh. I'm sure Exxon/Mobil will want this eventually as they are the biggest player now in NG. It was very smart of them to snap up the NG assets on the cheap. They don't buy assets like that to loose money.

IMO any holder of natural gas would want any possible new market.

The price of crude keeps going up as NG prices go down (and it seems that North America has plenty of the latter). It's certainly looking more and more like GTL making economic sense. And unlike gas, liquid synfuels can use existing delivery infrastructure and won't require engine modifications for the end user..

If there is a bear case for GTL, I'd like to hear it. With talk of $200 crude, it seems a no brainer to me..

Bob,

California needs a bullet train and could probably make it work. They have the population density and the need for high speed transportation between San Diego and San Francisco.

Florida didn't it but it would have been nice. Would've been a tourist train though. A fast train from Miami to Boston would make a lot of sense though.
