Goldman Sachs has a Neutral rating and a $45 price target on shares of Agilent Technologies (NYSE: A).

In a note to clients, Goldman writes, "Agilent hosted its annual investor meeting on 3 March during which management reiterated a bullish outlook on end markets and the company's long-term operating model.

Of note, the company outlined a long-term model targeting 8% organic revenue growth and 20% operating margins, vs. our 6% FY2011-FY2014E CAGR and FY2014 operating margin estimate of 21%.

The company continues to focus on operational improvements with VARI, organic growth opportunities in emerging markets, LTE wireless adoption, and development of new high-end life science equipment platforms."

Shares of Agilent closed at $42.82.
